Starting at:

I am an energetic, and look for ways to engage my students through their interests. I have worked with at-risk youth for nine years, which is my passion. I am on the board of a non-profit (MAEO- MI Alternative Education Org.), where I plan events for alternative high school students from all over MI. I bring creativity into my classroom, and am extremely empathetic. I am always willing to go the extra mile for my students, and am always their biggest cheerleader!

My teaching philosophy is: Student centered; I am not just teaching my students my content area, I am also teaching them how to be a good human being. Students don't care about what you teach, until they know that you care.

I teach: Pre-K;9th grade;10th grade;11th grade;12th grade
